experience agricultural trip

Wakayama city promote this action. Children, especially elementary school student, go to country side, do a lot of nature activities, and stay to a local resident. Thanks to this plan, the children are interested about staying country side and can study the importance of nature.  On the other hand, local people recover their town’s attraction and find a reason for living. I want to join this program someday.

My part-time job

I work at the Daiwa Roinet Hotel as a reception staff. I carry dishes and drinks in it. There are a lot of leftover food especially after buffet style party. I think the reason is that buffet style dish doesn't be settled for each customers,so they become tired of taking food at many times. Do you have any ideas to reduse leftover food? Sometimes we can eat it,but it is  too much for us to finish !!

Do you know ap bank fes?  AP bank is one of NPO bank for thinking about eco. NPO bank is helping for money to other NPO which need money. What is the way to collect contributions? It is ap bank fes. The sponsor of it is Sakurai Toshikazu who is the vocalist of Mr.Children. Many famous artists perform this stage. About eighty thousand people gather this festival.(2010) We can see many challenges about eco. For example, many people take tableware to reduce garbage for eating. I want to go this fes next year.

The school in Sapporo try to recycle garbage after making school meal. It is turned into manure to cultivate crops to make school meal again. Furthermore, there are nutritionists in school. They explain about food recycling. Students are interested about it and uneaten food  is reduced after doing this proglam. It is good program to teach the importanse of eating.

Green Curtain

Do you know "Green Curtain"?  It is made a tendril of a mornig glory, a loofah and so on. It can cool the whole house without air conditioner. It can lower the room temperature about ten degrees. It isvery good for environment. But if you make green curtain, you have some things to be careful. You must clean your house frequently, prepare countermeasures against a typhoon and an insect. I hate an insect,so I can't make green curtain in my house. Do you want to make green curtain? I want Wakayama university to make it.

Environmental education in Okinawa

Today, I introduce about "Shopping Game". It is the activity to think about how reduce garbage for shopping. It is used especially in Okinawa's elementary school . They go shopping for making curry freedom. They calculate the cost of  doing treatment the garbage after making curry rice. They go shopping again and try to reduse the cost of it than before. After doing this program, they have an awareness of the problems about garbage.
I think it is good program. I forget to carry ecobag recently. I have to think about how reduce household garbage too.

We have to kill going wild cows,it is sad

There are  many going wild cows in Fukushima because of  the accident at nuclear power  plant. they break into private houses, strike against cars, injure inhabitants and so on. It is difficult to capture them because they make herd. Why are they ran away ? One of the reason is the owners of them feel sad to leave their cows when they seeked shelter. They think, if we can't feed them, they must die for hunger.
I understand their feeling. I have a dog. I will do same thing if I have to leave her. But their action prevent rebuild after a big earthquake. What do you think about this problem?
